Ingredients
  • 2 lb organic strawberries
  • 1 1/2 cup organic sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup organic rosehips
  • 3 tbsp orange peel
Servings: 4 oz jars
Instructions
Rosehips simple syrup
  1. Measure 1 cup water and 1 sugar. Add to small pot and bring to a boil. Once boiling, turn off heat. Let cool and bottle or use for jam recipe.
Strawberry Rosehips Jam
  1. Slice strawberries in half. Add strawberries and ½ cup sugar to the pot of reships simple syrup. Bring to a boil.
  2. Lower heat and stir. Let reduce and add orange peel.
  3. Jam should start to thicken after simmering for 40 minutes. Check and see if your jam coats the back of your spoon. Turn off heat and let cool.
  4. Once completely cooled, begin to fill just to the neck of your sterilized mason jars. Make sure your jar lids are tightly closed.
  5. Place jars in boiling water for 10 minutes. (water must cover jars) This will seal your jars.
